London's Run

This past weekend, me and my running sisters, ran London's Run - 10K. This was the final year, which is super sad since it's such a great organization. After the race, I learned that we are actually related to sweet lil London Solomon. I'm glad I was able to run for such amazing children. Along the route, they had posters with pictures of victims as well as survivors. That was hard to see. I got teary-eyed several times.

Heath is seriously THE best hubby ever! He took tons of pictures! He, Cameron and Dana (his cousins) drove to Mile 4, snapped some pictures and cheered us on, then hauled it to the finish line. Afterwards, we went to lunch with Davery/Cam/Ava/Gavin, Nate and Dana to the Williams Gateway Cafe for lunch and watched some military jets take off.

Here are a few pictures ...

only hippies care about love

This morning, on the way to school, Logan asked, "Why does everyone sing about love? Boys...girls...everyone. That's why I like Hollywood Undead {his favorite band right now}, they sing about everything else, besides love". I told him, "What's that hippy song? All you need is love?". Logan, "Exactly. Only hippies care about love".

Ha! I had to snap a picture to document this conversation. Oh...in a few years, he's going to be hormone crazed and loving girls!! This entry will be useful to have :)

Jeeping!!

We had so much fun taking the new baby jeep'ing with the Toon's, Williams' and some of the Williams' friends. We also took Bryson (Heath's cousin) and Myles (Logan's best friend).

Heath was so cute...he didn't want to scratch it! I'm glad, cause I didn't want to, either :)

We made a little fire at the lake and ate lunch and just talked. Some of the men and boys fished. Bryson even caught a fish!

Wish I would have brought the camera. Guess that means we have to go again :) I'm so thankful to have found a hubby who's just as redneck as me!

Best daughter e•v•e•r!

Addi surprised me and Heath with a delish dessert tonight! Strawberries, melted chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Just "because".

We are so lucky to have a daughter with such a sweet love for giving to others :)

Contacts!!

I took Addi into Seville Eye Center where Grandma Debbie works to get fitted for contacts!! She is so excited and now she'll be able to play sports!!

She was quick to learn, too!!

Go sister!

Pursuit after 18 hours of working

Heath was on his way home from an 18 hour wide load and heard a pursuit over the radio and called up! He was able to get ahead of the bad guy and lay out his stop sticks. He was successful and punctured his two right tires! They were able to get everyone out of the situation safely.

I get home from a meeting, after getting the text about the pursuit, to see the stop sticks on the kitchen table. Ha ha. The things you get "used to" living with a cop.

New Years

For NYE we went to Denim and Diamonds with Dana, Casey, Sharon, Stephanie and her bf Heath. I know...two Heath's. We were excited to see Lexi, Tammy...and crew, too! We ended up with a big group of friends. We danced all night. It was a blast

Sarge and his kids

Sarge is always under the table when someone is sitting there...waiting for food, I'm sure. I caught these pictures when the kids were doing their homework. Addi is using Sarge as a foot rest and he couldn't care less. He loves his kids. That's for sure!

Friends!

We are so blessed to have such amazing friends! Scott and Lindsay invited us to Scott's company party in Scottsdale. Scott is the Manager of Payless Rental Cars. He and his team were recognized by the District Manager for their hard work.

Afterwards, we went to Filibertos with the District Manager, Scott and Lindsay. We were able to stay over night at Embassy Suites. It was fun to have a date night out, out.
